A traditional Cretan cold meat which is made from pieces of pork marinated in the best vinegar and spices. They then coated with a mixture of traditional spices and smoked slowly with beech wood. It can be eaten cold, cut into thin slices with toasted bread, but more often it is heated. It can be fried with eggs, used to give an extra special taste to pulse dishes, pastas and even pizzas. And of course it can be eaten on its own so you can really taste the quality. Ready to eat. Keep refrigerated at 0-4C. Shelf life 90 days. Available in 200 – 300 gr pieces.
